Otherwise maybe check your YED_SideviewBattler notetags, perhaps they got messed up somehow? I've never used that plugin myself, not sure how it works. I'm guessing that's not the issue though, since you say it worked recently. =)Īlso, static enemy images for front-view go in the img/enemies folder, but side-view ones go in img/sv_enemies. I'd suggest disabling/removing SimpleMsgSideView, since Yanfly's Battle Engine Core provides a very similar option via its "Show Action Text" plugin parameter (simple/full) and it may be conflicting as-is.ĭouble-check the "Use Side-view Battle" option on the System tab in the Database.
